Good Charlotte has released five studio albums: Good Charlotte (2000), The Young and the Hopeless (2002), The Chronicles of Life and Death (2004), Good Morning Revival (2007) and Cardiology (2010). They also have two compilations, Greatest Remixes (2008) and Greatest Hits (2010) and two live albums, Bootlegs (2004) and iTunes Live from Montreal (2009).

It was released in 2000 and contained three singles: 'Little Things', 'The Motivation Proclamation' and 'Festival Song'. The Young and the Hopeless sold 4.9 million copies worldwide and threw Good Charlotte into widespread popularity. It was released in 2002 and the band had appearances on popular television and reality shows to support the album. Good Charlotte received triple platinum awards and viewers choice awards. The album contained five singles: 'Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous', 'The Anthem', 'The Young and the Hopeless' and 'Hold On'. The Chronicles of Life and Death was released in 2004 and sold over 2.2 million copies worldwide. The album received mixed reactions from the fan base and the music press and it is claimed that "the band feels that the record was not as successful as previous albums due to it being too selfish." It contained four singles: 'Predictable', 'I Just Wanna Live', 'The Chronicles of Life and Death' and 'We Believe'. Good Morning Revival was released in 2007 and reached the top 10 of albums in 13 different countries. It was described as 'a different sound for the group and contained three singles: 'The River', 'Dance Floor Anthem' and 'Keep Your Hands Off My Girl'. 'The River' featured M.Shadows and Synyster Gates from Avenged Sevenfold. The 'Keep Your Hands Off My Girl' music video was played more than 3,000 time over four continents in half a year. Good Charlotte made many television appearances in support of the album and supported Justin Timberlake in his North American tour. Good Charlotte in Cardiology was released in 2010 and the band was compared to Blink-182. The album contained two singles: 'Likes It's Her Birthday' and 'Counting the Days'. It was called Cardiology because of the lyrics in the album, all being ''connected to the heart''. The music video for 'Like It's Her Birthday' featured The Maine's lead singer John O'Callaghan, guitarist Kennedy Brock, Boys Like Girls' lead singer Martin Johnson and guitarist Paul DiGoivanni. |
